Step 1: Washing
Wash the cast-iron cookware by hand. You can use a small amount of soap. If needed, use a scraper to remove stuck-on food. For stubborn stains, simmer a little water for 3–5 minutes and then use the scraper once the pan has cooled.

Step 2: Drying
Immediately and thoroughly dry with a lint-free cloth or paper towel. If you notice a little black residue on the towel, that’s just the seasoning—it’s perfectly normal.

Step 3: Oil Application
Apply a thin layer of cooking oil or seasoning spray to the cooking surface. Use a paper towel to wipe off any excess until no oil remains.
